Prime Minister Shehbaz has approved an extension for Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Babar.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved a one-year extension for Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu.

The prime minister has sent advice regarding the extension of the Air Chief Marshal to President Asif Ali Zardari for his approval, and the extension has been approved after receiving his approval.

Zaheer Babar holds the rank of a four-star air force officer and currently serves as the 16th Chief of Air Staff. On March 19, 2021, he took control of the air force, succeeding ACM Mujahid Anwar Khan.

Air Chief Zaheer Babr recently convened a meeting with the newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to address subjects of national significance.
