Protests against the Bihar chief minister for removing the niqab of a Muslim woman

In a number of Sinh and Balochistan cities, members of political parties and civic society demonstrated against Bihar state minister Nitish Kumar for removing a Muslim woman’s niqab.

The Muslim Women League and civil society staged a protest march in front of the Karachi Press Club to voice their outrage at Indian Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s obscene deed. Many women from all around the city took part in the demonstration, calling the act of removing the hijab deplorable and intolerable.

People in Hyderabad also protested the Modi government and India by taking to the streets and shouting powerful slogans. In Ormara, Pasni, and Gwadar, students also planned protest marches in response to the hihab incident.

The demonstrators requested that foreign organizations take notice of the tragedy and chanted anti-Modi chants.
