PTI’s Oct 4 long march confined to Swabi or Attock

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has completed preparations for its long march on October 4 and chosen to hold the protest only in Swabi or Attock.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister chaired a meeting to discuss preparations for the long march.

PTI Information Secretary Shaukat Yousafzai claimed the march would be calm and orderly. He claimed a tent city would be created at an appropriate place in Swabi or Attock.

Yousafzai said orders on when and at what time the march would go ahead would be given through the line of command. All workers and organizers are told to be prepared for any circumstances.

He said patience, discipline and peaceful conduct will be maintained under all situations, adding that party workers are strongly motivated and adequately equipped.

The federal administration was shaken by public feeling and the excitement of party workers, said Yousafzai.

He added the specific location of the tent city would be determined in consultation with district groups and MPs.
