Punjab government unveils plans for its city and business districts, dubbed “Digital Punjab.”

Plans to create several commercial districts and an IT city throughout the province have been revealed by the Punjab government.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting that included stakeholders and top officials when the news was made.

A silicon cluster, a Grand Central Station at Kalma Chowk, and ecologically friendly blue roadways on the main boulevard are among the features of the IT City, which is slated to be created in partnership with Chinese, South Korean, and Saudi Arabian companies.

According to Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the government has chosen to build commercial hubs in eight Punjabi cities, including Lahore, Sialkot, and Faisalabad.

A state-of-the-art stadium and the creation of a city of sports in Sialkot were also agreed at the meeting.

Additionally, the government has chosen to create a real estate investment trust in Punjab through legislation in order to encourage real estate investment.

The gathering was updated on the status of the CBD project, which attempts to create an atmosphere that is favorable for corporate growth.

The authorities have been asked by the Chief Minister to guarantee the timely completion of the projects and to provide periodic progress updates.
