Saudi Arabia gives Umrah travelers until April 18 to depart.

The directive was issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Simultaneously, the Saudi Ministry of Interior reaffirmed that after the deadline, only those with Hajj visas will be permitted to remain in Makkah.

According to authorities, it is now prohibited for both international and local people to enter Makkah without a permit.

People on Umrah, visitation, or other visas are required to depart Makkah by April 18, according to officials, who also warned that staying past that date will be seen as a legal infraction and could result in legal action.

Every year, the procedures are put in place to control crowds and guarantee safety during the Hajj.
