Speaking about the proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment, Ahsan Iqbal stated that it will be discussed in Parliament and implemented in a transparent manner. The implementation of the democratic charter is the goal of this constitutional amendment.
He added that the goal of the 27th Amendment is to make the court stronger. According to him, the structure put in place in 1971 serves as the foundation for our defense framework. “To ensure a stronger defense, we will introduce changes through the 27th Constitutional Amendment,” he stated. “We want a strong defense, a strong judiciary, and a strong democracy,” he continued.
The 27th modification’s text will be unveiled on Friday, according to Ahsan Iqbal, who also stated that no modification that compromises the Constitution’s core principles will be proposed. According to him, the opposition ought to make recommendations for constitutional changes that will fortify Pakistan.
Additionally, the federal minister congratulated Zohran Mamdani, stating that his triumph exemplifies the beauty of American democracy and that he has brought fresh vitality to politics. He claimed that Mamdani was from a middle-class and immigrant family, and I hope he keeps the promises he has given the populace.
