The administration of Adiala Jail eliminates the ban on two-week jail visits.

In a statement, the jail management announced that visiting privileges for inmates at Adiala Jail have been reinstated as of right now.

The jail administration stated, “The ban was meant to ensure protection of over 7,000 prisoners, including the founder of the PTI.”

According to Superintendent Adiala Jail, the prohibition on visiting prisoners has been revoked as of right now. The jail superintendent continued, “The family members and other concerned parties could meet with inmates under normal SOPs.”

Citing security concerns, the Punjab Home Department banned visits with inmates at Adiala Jail on March 12.

The two-week ban was imposed. According to the Punjab Home Department, media coverage in front of Adiala Jail’s gate number five was likewise forbidden.

It should be noted that 11 PTI politicians have been granted access to the party founder.

Sher Afzal Marwat, Faisal Javed Salar Kakar, Ali Bukhari, Khalid Masood, and Nadeem Afzal were among those granted permission to visit the jail and meet the PTI’s founder.

The party’s founder will also be met by advocates Sarar Azhar Tariq, Sajida Begum, Siraj Ahmed, and Naveed Anjum.

Barrister Gohar, Zartaj Gul, Shoaib Shaheen, and Umair Niazi have arrived at Adiala Jail in order to have a meeting with the leader of the party.
