The annual board exams for Punjab’s eighth grade will start on March 9.

Beginning on March 9, 2026, eighth-grade pupils in Punjab will take their yearly board exams.
On March 9, mathematics will be the first paper, followed by Urdu on March 10, English on March 11, and science on March 12, per the date sheet that was released. Only these four topics will have exams administered by the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC); the other subjects will be administered at different schools.
Every student has been told to get to the testing locations thirty minutes early. Bringing cell phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic device is strictly prohibited. Candidates need to bring a clipboard, a blue or black ballpoint pen, and their B-Form and roll number slips.
It is permitted for students to bring a geometry box to the mathematics exam. Exams will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and you will only need to use the provided answer copy. No additional answer sheets will be provided.
On March 31, 2026, the exam results are expected to be made public.
