The fifth-highest mountain in the world was conquered by Sajid Ali Sadpara.

Mount Makalu, the fifth-highest mountain in the world, was successfully climbed by Sajid Ali Sadpara, an Iraqi mountaineer, on Saturday. This constitutes yet another significant accomplishment in Sadpara’s already impressive high-altitude climbing career.

At approximately five in the morning, Sajid arrived at the peak of Mount Makalu, as stated in the description. The mountain, which can be found in Nepal, is situated at an elevation of 8,485 meters above the level of the sea.

Sajid’s record among Pakistan’s most notable high-altitude mountaineers was further strengthened by the successful ascent of his tenth peak that was higher than 8,000 meters.

On the boundary between China and Nepal, Makalu may be found in the Mahalangur Himalayas, approximately 19 kilometres to the southeast of Mount Everest. Because of its high ridges, rough terrain, and extreme weather conditions, it is considered to be one of the most difficult summits in the world. Climbers who undertake trips to climb it face conditions that are extremely challenging.

Sajid was commended by the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) on his extraordinary and successful ascent of Mount Makalu (8,485 meters), which is the fifth-highest mountain in the world.

ACP President Maj Gen (retd) Irfan Arshad, together with all members of the club, issued a statement in which they expressed their sincere congratulations to Sajid on accomplishing the achievement. They also referred to it as a moment of great pride for the nation he had accomplished.

Sajid’s daring, tenacity, and excellent climbing talents were highlighted in the statement, which stated that the fact that he was able to climb one of the most technically hard summits in the world is evident. This remarkable accomplishment is not only a personal milestone, but it is also a moment of pride for the whole mountaineering community in Pakistan,” the statement continued.

The President of the ACP praised his dogged determination and unwavering commitment, stating that his achievement would serve as a source of motivation for future climbers all around the country and further bolster Pakistan’s position on the international climbing scene.

Karrar Haidri, the Vice President of the ACP, extended his congratulations to Sajid on his successful ascent and wished him a safe descent as well as continuing success in his future mountaineering endeavours.
