The government lowers the price of gasoline by Rs. 2.20 and diesel by Rs. 1.50 per liter.

According to a notice sent by the Petroleum Division on Friday, the federal government announced a three-day price cut for gasoline and high-speed diesel (HSD).

The price of gasoline has decreased by Rs2.20 to Rs327.62 per liter under the new rates, while the price of high-speed diesel has decreased by Rs1.50 to Rs380.86 per liter.

According to the announcement, the updated prices will be in force from August 8 till August 10.

According to the notification, trends in global oil prices and changes in the value of the Pakistani rupee would be taken into consideration when the next review of petroleum prices is carried out after the three-day period.
