The PPP creates a committee to launch a presidential campaign.

According to the information, reaching out to other political parties has been assigned to the committee, which is made up of prominent leaders Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Raja Parvez Sharaf, Syed Khursheed Shah, and Syed Naveed Qamar.

On February 21, Asif Ali Zardari was declared a joint candidate for president by the PPP and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif will lead the nation once more during a joint news conference at Zardari House in Islamabad.
