There will be by-elections in five seats.

Shehbaz Sharif, the President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), won both the NA-132 Kasur and NA-123 Lahore constituencies, as well as the PP-158 and PP-164 Punjab Assembly constituencies.

Shehbaz Sharif must hold onto one seat and give up the others when by-elections are scheduled in light of the numerous victories. He is expected to leave PP-158 and PP-164, which will force by-elections in those seats.

In the meanwhile, in the event that Maryam Nawaz chooses to forfeit her newly gained seat, by-elections are anticipated in NA-119.

Maryam Nawaz is vying to become the chief minister of Punjab, while Shehbaz Sharif has been nominated to be the next prime minister.

Rumours point to a possible opening in PP-174 held by Hamza Shehbaz.

Aleem Khan of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan (IPP) would relinquish his PP-149 seat in order to keep his NA-117 Lahore seat.
