Thousands of people assemble in Kartarpur for the grand celebration of Guru Nanak’s 556th birthday.

At the Kartarpur Corridor, the three-day celebration of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 556th birthday has commenced.
The Darbar government claims that thousands of Sikh pilgrims are coming to Kartarpur from Pakistan and other countries.
Today, some 2,000 pilgrims will go through Wagah to reach Kartarpur. To carry out additional Islamic rites, they will remain for two days before departing for Eminabad on November 10.
In order to enable more devotees to freely and unhinderedly visit Darbar Sahib, pilgrims have once again urged India to fully reopen the Kartarpur Corridor.
Special arrangements have been prepared for security, lodging, medical treatment, and langar (community kitchen), the Darbar administration noted, guaranteeing that all amenities are available for the pilgrims’ convenience.
