Trump threatens “severe” consequences for Iran if no agreement is achieved.

Speaking to reporters, Trump hinted at a severe response but refrained from outlining concrete policies in the event that discussions fail.

He stated that hostilities had temporarily stopped and added, “I don’t want to comment on that, but it won’t be pleasant for them.”

He cited current pressure tactics, claiming that Iran was already subject to a blockade and had been severely cut off from commercial operations.

The US president insisted that Tehran would not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons, reiterating Washington’s long-standing stance on Iran’s nuclear program.

“There won’t be an agreement if they disagree. There will never be a deal,” he said, adding, “we are going to get the dust back; either we will get it back from them, or we will take it.”
