Turkish FM makes a call to General Asim Munir, COAS

The bilateral connections between the two sides, which are based on historical, cultural, and religious ties, were deemed satisfactory by both parties.

The dignitary who was in town expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Army for its contribution to regional peace and security.

Earlier, on a two-day official visit to Pakistan, Turkiye Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan arrived in Islamabad.

Welcomed the Turkish Foreign Minister warmly at the airport was Ambassador Ahmed Naseem Warraich, Additional Foreign Secretary.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will have in-depth conversations with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif during the visit.

The two parties will evaluate how bilateral ties are doing and how well-prepared they are for future high-level meetings between their nations.
