Two Pakistanis perish in a Libyan boat accident while attempting to reach Europe.

Tragically, two guys from Punjab’s Sheikhupura area perished in a boat accident in Libya while trying to get to Europe.
Two months ago, Kashif and Afzal Jutt, who live in the village of Kajjar, traveled to Saudi Arabia to conduct Umrah. Following their trek, they allegedly tried to travel to Europe via the Libyan route by an unauthorized migrant trail known as “dunki.”
When the boat carrying them and other people trying to travel towards Europe was killed in Libyan waters, their journey took a tragic turn. The incident claimed the lives of both men.
When the deceased’s bodies were returned to their hometown, locals and relatives gathered to see expressions of mourning. As the coffins arrived, family members were filled with grief. Afzal leaves behind three children, whereas Kashif leaves behind two.
Authorities have emphasized the risks associated with unauthorized migration routes, which have killed many people in previous years as a result of dangerous and congested sea crossings.
