Women’s new routes and schedules for Karachi Pink Buses have been revealed.

With effect from October 17, Karachi Pink Buses has announced new routes for women with updated schedules.

exclusive to women In an effort to make daily commuting safer and more convenient for female passengers, Pink Bus Service has introduced set travel timings on a new route from Abdullah Chowk to Numaish, effective November 17, 2025.

After 18 additional buses were added to the network last year, the initiative—which began with the goal of giving women a dependable, reasonably priced, and safe form of transportation—has gained a lot of traction.

The service will now be accessible within the three designated time windows each day, according to Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon:

• From 8 to 9 a.m.

• From 1:00 until 2:00

• From 5 to 7 p.m.

He reaffirmed that the government’s first focus continues to be women’s safety and comfort.

“This project aims to ease the travel challenges women face in a large metropolitan city like Karachi,” he stated.

For seamless and secure travel, the Pink Bus fleet is outfitted with all the necessary security features, tracking technology, and skilled employees. In order to assist women who are pursuing school, employment, and everyday travel within the city, the minister also affirmed that additional route expansions are planned.

Sharjeel Memon described it as a step in the direction of creating a safer urban environment for women and noted that other projects of this kind are being considered to give Karachi residents access to an easy and reasonably priced transport system.

The Pink Bus Service is still an essential mode of transportation, offering free rides for girls under five and a fee of Rs 50. In the meantime, plans are being made for the Pink Scooty Scheme’s second phase, which would further empower female commuters.
