The government chooses to put a number of PTI leaders on a no-fly list.

A number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officials have been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) by the federal government for inciting political disturbance in the nation.
Sources claim that PTI founder Imran Khan and other suspects in the May 9 riots will face harsh punishment.
The names of a number of PTI leaders have been officially approved to be included to the Exit Control List (ECL).
Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Omar Ayub, Fawad Chaudhry, and Shibli Faraz are among those on the list.
Ali Amin Gandapur, Shehryar Afridi, Usman Dar, Shireen Mazari, Zartaj Gul, Musarrat Cheema, Kanwal Shauzab, Sheikh Rashid, Major (R) Tahir Sadiq, Raja Basharat, and Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi are among the other leaders who have also been banned from travel.
The Punjab Home Department reportedly sent the list and its suggestions to the federal government, requesting that the individuals on the list be added to the ECL in light of the May 9 riots.
The federal government has now officially approved the suggestions that the ECL committee had previously submitted.
