Field Marshal Asim Munir visits Quetta to assess security operations targeting Indian-sponsored terrorism.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, visited Quetta today to assess current security operations.
Upon arrival, he was greeted by the Commander of Quetta Corps and promptly informed about the current security situation and internal security protocols. The briefing includes specifics regarding recent terrorist assaults perpetrated by Indian-supported, internationally-designated militants of Fitna al Hindustan.
Officials emphasized the rapid and forceful reaction of security personnel, which effectively thwarted efforts to undermine peace, security, and prosperity in Balochistan.
Strategies to enhance the authority of the state and safeguard the citizenry, essential infrastructure, and law enforcement officials were thoroughly examined. The senior military official asserted that no terrorist or their accomplices would be exempt, and all would be rigorously prosecuted in accordance with the law. He emphasized that violence and terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances.
Field Marshal Asim Munir commended the professionalism, valor, and sacrifices of officers and personnel from all law enforcement agencies. He recognized their vital contribution in countering anti-Pakistan schemes and upholding law and order notwithstanding difficult conditions.
The senior general thereafter visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta with the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti. He encountered wounded men from the Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and Police. He praised their elevated morale, bravery, and unwavering commitment to defending the nation against foreign-sponsored terrorism.
