Most of the country will see a period of cold and dry weather: PMD

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that most of the country will have extremely low morning and nighttime temperatures on Saturday, along with partly overcast skies over mountainous areas.
The current winter pattern, according to the PMD, will maintain low temperatures in the central and northern regions while keeping the majority of the plains dry.
The temperature is predicted to drop to about 6 C in the morning and rise to approximately 26 C in the afternoon in the federal capital of Islamabad and the surrounding districts. The weather will be cold and dry.
The majority of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, is expected to stay cold and dry, with the upper regions likely to see extremely cold mornings and evenings.
Punjab will remain dry in the most of its areas as well, although the cold will get worse at night and in the early morning. Pleasant daytime temperatures are predicted for cities like Lahore and Faisalabad, with a precipitous drop after dark.
Throughout the day, the hill resort of Murree and the Galiyat neighborhood will stay dry and cool, while central and southern Punjab will probably experience strong winds.
Mainly dry weather is expected to persist across Sindh, including Karachi, with milder daytime highs of about 31 C providing some relief from the cooler northern climates.
In most areas of Balochistan, the weather will be dry and partly cloudy, but in the northern regions, including Quetta, it will continue to be cold, especially in the morning and at night.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir’s northern regions will continue to experience harsh winter conditions, with cold, dry, and partly overcast weather predicted. It is anticipated that cities like Gilgit and Skardu would have frigid mornings with lows of 1 C and 0 C, respectively, and low afternoon temperatures.
