A magnitude 5 earthquake trembles Barkhan in Balochistan.

An earthquake struck the Barkhan district of Balochistan on Wednesday, causing alarm among inhabitants of Rakhni and other places.

The Seismological Center reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 5, with its epicentre situated 12 kilometres southeast of Rakhnai at a depth of 30 kilometres.

Residents allegedly fled their residences, uttering prayers, as the tremors震动 the area.

Rescue authorities have stated that there have been no recorded casualties or property damage as date. Emergency teams have been placed on standby as a precautionary measure.
