On Sunday morning, a towel factory in the New Karachi Industrial Area caught fire.

Details state that three fire department vehicles were sent to the scene to put out the fire as soon as they learned about it.

Firefighting crews were dispatched to the scene almost away after receiving the information, according to fire brigade authorities who confirmed the occurrence.

To contain the situation and stop the fire from spreading to adjacent industrial buildings, rescue and fire control activities are now underway.

Authorities stated that following the initial inspection, further information about the source of the fire and the extent of the damage will be disclosed.
