Bilawal assesses party matters and development initiatives in significant meetings.

On Monday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, conducted individual meetings with party officials to assess political, organisational, and developmental issues.

Senator Waqar Mehdi convened with the PPP chairman at Bilawal House, where they deliberated about the political and organisational landscape in Sindh, as well as strategies for the forthcoming cantonment board elections.

Legislative issues in the Senate were also examined. Bhutto Zardari instructed Mehdi to implement stringent steps to uphold organisational discipline within the party in Sindh.

Independently, Sindh Assembly member Muhammad Asif Khan and Maripur Town Chairman Humayun Khan informed the PPP chairman on development initiatives, indicating that water projects had been prioritised in their area within the annual development agenda.

Additionally, Bilawal engages in discussions regarding the present political landscape with PPP officials.

It was observed that four community halls and a sports facility for indoor activities had been established in PS-11.

Officials additionally informed Bilawal that the Kemari Food Street project has garnered significant public support, whereas the Queens Family Park in Sultanabad has been finalised by Maripur Town authorities.

In a subsequent meeting, Sukkur Mayor Arslan Sheikh informed the PPP chairman on governance and development plans.

He stated that several public grievances are being resolved via the Sindh Chief Minister’s Public Complaint Cell, and that the Sukkur Municipal Corporation has undergone complete digitalisation.

Sheikh stated that a clean drinking water initiative, established through a public-private collaboration, has been finalised, benefiting about 650,000 individuals across 100,000 households.
