CDF Munir declares during the Marka-e-Haq anniversary that Pakistan’s armed forces will never submit to threats.

Senior military officials attended a lavish event conducted at General Headquarters (GHQ) here on Sunday to commemorate the Marka-e-Haq victory.
Senior military officers, including Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu and Naveed Ashraf, attended the ceremony as chief guest, along with Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The large-scale event at GHQ coincides with Pakistan’s military leadership’s ongoing focus on inter-services cooperation, national defense, and paying respect to those who have died while serving their country. The theme of institutional unity and collective readiness is emphasized by the involvement of the chiefs of the army, navy, and air force.
The ceremony began with the commanders of the armed services laying flower wreaths at Yadgar-e-Shuhada in remembrance of the martyrs who gave their lives defending the nation. During the event, well-prepared groups from all three branches of the military gave a traditional salute.
The Quranic passage from which Pakistan’s retaliatory operation was named, “Bunyanum Marsoos,” was then recited.
Speaking during the special occasion, CDF Munir stated that the day was a source of pride for the whole country and that the accomplishment demonstrated Pakistan’s resilience, solidarity, and will to overcome obstacles.
He emphasized that Marka-e-Haq was a decisive struggle between “two ideologies” in which truth eventually triumphed, rather than just a conflict between two nations.
