DPM Dar talks about the regional situation with the UK foreign secretary.

According to a Foreign Office official, UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper talked with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar over the phone on Monday.
According to the spokesperson, both presidents talked about current events and the state of the region.
Yvette Cooper valued Pakistan’s initiatives to encourage communication and intermediation between parties in order to bring about regional peace.
According to the Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to achieving peace via communication and diplomacy during the discussion.

According to the statement, the two sides also talked about how the conflict would affect the world economy and other more general aspects.
