Election schedule for the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly

The Election Commission of Gilgit-Baltistan has announced the schedule for the upcoming GB Assembly elections.

Candidates may submit their nomination papers from April 16 to April 20, with the candidate list to be released on April 21. The verification of nomination papers will occur from April 21 to April 28.

Appeals against the judgments of returning officers must be submitted by 2 May, with appellate tribunals scheduled to issue rulings on 9 May.

The updated roster of candidates will be published on 10 May, and electoral symbols will be assigned on 12 May.

Voting in all constituencies of Gilgit-Baltistan is set for 7 June 2026.
