Farooq Abdullah: The Modi regime is to blame for IIOJK terrorism
Following the murder of innocent labourers in Kulgam, Farooq Abdullah, the former puppet chief minister of Indian-Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), delivered a harsh indictment of the Indian government, blaming the Modi administration for the region’s continued terrorism and security lapses.
The Modi administration’s security narrative was severely damaged when Abdullah rejected attempts by Indian media and officials to connect the Kulgam event to Pakistan in an interview that was reported by Indian media.
“If terrorism has ended, who killed these labourers?” Abdullah questioned the Indian government’s assurances of normalcy. And where are these murderers coming from if the entire border is tightly guarded?
He questioned why enigmatic and violent episodes usually happen whenever the call for the restoration of Kashmir’s unique identity and sovereignty gathers traction, highlighting the odd timing of such events.
Abdullah called the attack on Kulgam labourers, which happened right after intense statehood demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, “a deep-rooted conspiracy.”
National Conference ministers further acknowledged that Indian intelligence agencies themselves create such staged scenarios specifically to impede the restoration of sovereignty, and they demanded an honest, impartial, and sincere probe into the Kulgam massacres rather than a prejudiced cover-up.
Abdullah questioned why statehood is still denied if conditions are genuinely normal and attacked the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that it is destroying Kashmir only for its own political purposes.
Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq joined the appeals for sanity, highlighting the critical need for communication and talks to establish enduring peace in the area.
The BJP’s rhetoric was also rejected by the Indian National Congress party, which declined to support the idea that a “foreign hand” was responsible for the Kulgam event.
The Kulgam attack has been described by political experts as a continuation of New Delhi’s manufactured security dramas. They claim that the Modi regime is purposefully causing bloodshed in IIOJK in order to deflect public attention from its escalating internal political and economic crises and to increase public protests against the BJP.
Experts stressed that India’s long-standing strategy to conceal its grave intelligence shortcomings is to make unfounded accusations against Pakistan in the absence of proof.
They pointed out that even the Indian public criticised the Modi government for always blaming Pakistan for every setback during recent demonstrations at Jantar Mantar.
The Indian public is becoming less receptive to the story of Pakistani meddling in IIOJK, despite persistent efforts by Indian “Godi media.”
According to political commentators, New Delhi is fabricating ongoing crises in occupied Kashmir in order to keep direct control over the region and to provide a fake rationale for maintaining a force of one million troops stationed there.
