House roof collapse: 3 killed, 1 injured in Lahore

– Three people including a child were killed and one injured after the roof of a house collapsed in Garhi Shahu Railway Colony, Lahore, trapping the family under the debris.

Rescue 1122 stated that the roof was made out of mud and T-Iron girders. During the operation, rescue workers managed to recover all four persons under the debris.

The dead were named as Mubeen, 45, his wife, 40, and their daughter, Fatima, 11.

Emal, 14, was injured in the incident and taken to hospital for medical care, rescue officials said. They said there was no other person suspected to be trapped under the rubble and the rescue effort was completed.
