M-1, M-14 and other major highways will be closed from this evening
— A number of key highways and motorways will be blocked to all traffic from Wednesday evening, the Expressway Police said.
The M-1 expressway will be closed for traffic in both directions from Islamabad Toll Plaza to Chachh Interchange.
Several interchanges on the M-1 including Fateh Jang, Tarnol, Sangjani, Brahma Bahtar, Burhan, Hazara Expressway and Ghazi interchanges will also be closed.
The M-14 expressway will also be closed in both directions from Hakla to Kundal starting Wednesday evening.
The M-14 closures will comprise Fateh Jang, Pindi Gheb, Khurpa, Tarap, Daud Khel, Kot Balian and Isa Khel interchanges.
The Expressway Police also informed that the GT Road (N-5) would also be closed in both directions near Attock Khurd from Wednesday evening.
