Maryam Nawaz honors Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of Azerbaijan, at his tomb

Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, visited national leader Heydar Aliyev’s mausoleum in Baku, the country’s capital, to start her official visits.

In honor of Heydar Aliyev’s contributions to the nation, CM Punjab presented Fateha and placed flowers at his grave during the visit.

She also wished Azerbaijan well and stressed the importance of bolstering ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

The chief minister of Punjab later went to the Martyrs’ Alley memorial in Baku, where she honored the sacrifices made by Azerbaijani martyrs by laying flowers.

During the visit, Maryam Nawaz was accompanied by members of the delegation and Khazar Farhadov, the ambassador of Azerbaijan.
