MoUs are signed by Iran and Pakistan to strengthen media cooperation.

Several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between Iran and Pakistan to improve media cooperation.
PTV Executive Director Fatima Sheikh, Iran Broadcasting Vice President Ahmad Norozi, and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar attended the signing ceremony.
MoUs were signed during the occasion between PEMRA and Iran’s regulatory body, as well as between PTV and Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
Agreements were also signed between three private Pakistani organizations and Iranian media outlets.
Minister Tarar stated that Pakistan-Iran media collaboration would improve bilateral relations and fortify people-to-people relationships while also giving souvenirs to the Iranian delegation.
He emphasized the benefits of Iranian President Pezeshkian’s trip to Pakistan, which started with his pay respects at Allama Iqbal’s mausoleum in Lahore, a representation of the two countries’ longstanding fraternal ties.
According to Tarar, Pakistan’s government and media have consistently supported Iran in times of need and demonstrated the Iranian people’s tenacity around the world. He was pleased that media cooperation has now materialized and strengthened the two countries’ relationship.
Iran-Pakistan ties have entered a new and stronger era, according to Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam. He stated that President Pezeshkian’s visit has ushered in a new era in bilateral ties and thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his support.
Ahmad Norozi, vice president of the IRIB World Service, praised Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. He revealed a new turning point in cross-cultural cooperation: Iran has offered to produce a film series about Allama Iqbal. Norozi also revealed intentions for Iranian media to provide international workshops and training courses for Pakistani professionals and students.
Recalling how IRIB staff persisted to report despite attacks throughout the conflict, he praised journalists’ tenacity. Joint Urdu-Persian productions on Allama Iqbal will enable the youth grasp his message of selfhood, knowledge, and action, Minister Tarar added in his conclusion that the accords will elevate Pakistan-Iran relations to new heights.
