Petrol price cut by Rs3.93, diesel rate unchanged at Rs396.96

In the current revision of the petroleum price, the federal government has announced another cut in the fuel prices while the high speed diesel would remain unchanged.
Petrol now costs Rs386.30 a liter, a drop of Rs3.93.
A statement released by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) said that the increased tariffs will be effective from October 17 to 19, 2026.
The Petroleum Division has notified that the price of petrol has been cut by Rs3.93 per liter. With the cut, petrol will be available for Rs386.30 per liter which will bring some relief to motorists after past changes in fuel costs.
Unlike petrol, there has been no change in the price of high-speed diesel (HSD). The rate will be Rs396.96 a liter for the entire new pricing term, the announcement said.
