Successful Abdali Missile Test Sends Strong Defence Message

Pakistan has successfully conducted a test of the Abdali Missile System, displaying its defence might and technological capabilities during a military drill.
The test was held on May 3, 2025 as part of the “Indus” training exercise, official sources said. The successful test flight showed Pakistan’s operational capacity and improved its overall defence position.
The Abdali Missile System is a significant part of the country’s strategic defensive system with a range of up to 450 kilometres, which efficiently targets land targets.
Officials said the exercise was designed to examine the combat readiness of the armed services and identify important technical issues such as contemporary navigation systems.
The successful trial also demonstrated Pakistan’s defence might and was a clear statement of its readiness against any likely invasion, security specialists said.
