The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan held a full court meeting on Monday, presided over by Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, to discuss significant administrative and judicial reforms intended to improve institutional efficacy and accelerate justice delivery.
All judges of the court, accompanied by Registrar Mohamed Hafeezullah Khan, attended the meeting. An official statement said that the discussions concentrated on enhancing operational efficiency, fortifying case administration, and reaffirming the court’s dedication to prompt adjudication.
The chief justice underscored the constitutional mandate for expeditious justice, instructing all benches to use efficient case management strategies to markedly diminish the current case backlog.
He emphasised that the expeditious resolution of cases is crucial for sustaining public trust in the judicial system and preserving the constitutional order.
The meeting also evaluated current capacity-building activities inside the institution. The chief justice commended in-house training programs for ministerial personnel (BS 8–16), emphasising that these initiatives are essential for improving administrative proficiency and professional standards.
Officials stated that the training programs encompass information technology competencies, workplace discipline, and office ethics, all designed to establish a contemporary, efficient, and responsive institutional structure.
