The first Hajj flight leaves Karachi for Saudi Arabia.

In the early hours of Saturday, the first flight from Karachi airport to Saudi Arabia marked the formal beginning of Pakistan’s Hajj operations. Nehal Hashmi, the governor of Sindh, was at the airport to bid the pilgrims farewell.

Governor Nehal Hashmi remarked that those traveling for the Hajj are extremely fortunate individuals during a special ceremony held at the Karachi airport to bid farewell to the pilgrims. He asked the pilgrims to offer prayers for Pakistan’s development and the welfare of its citizens.

According to Governor Sindh, Pakistan is the country with the second-highest number of Hajj performers, while Pakistanis are the top performers of Umrah.

He went on to say that pilgrims used to go by foot, then by sea, and now by flight, which allowed them to arrive at their destination in a matter of hours. According to Nehal Hashmi, pilgrims should pray for the safety of the nation because the Hajj is a test of endurance and perseverance.
