The Lahore Board has implemented an automated system for practical examinations.

The Lahore Board has implemented an automated method for practical examinations for the first time.

The initiative was implemented under the guidance of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, with instructions from Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat and Chairman of the Task Force Committee for Boards Muzammil Mahmood, as endeavours to digitise the education system persist.

Under the new method, the responsibilities of practical examiners will now be allocated via a computerised process.

Officials stated that the automated system will eradicate favouritism, as no examiner will be allowed to select a preferred duty location.

Following the directives of Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, transparency in the test procedure has been guaranteed.

The Lahore Board has finalised arrangements to transition all practical examinations to a centralised grading system.
