The President and Prime Minister commend security forces for their successful operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday praised security forces for their effective operations against terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij in the Tank and Dera Ismail Khan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

In a statement released by Aiwan-e-Sadr, President Zardari commended the professionalism of the security forces for neutralising five terrorists allegedly supported by India during the operations. He praised the forces’ capabilities and reiterated that such acts demonstrate the nation’s steadfast commitment to combating terrorism.

The president stressed that operations against terrorist factions would persist until militancy is entirely eradicated from the nation. He asserted that the successful measures against Indian-sponsored entities exemplified national will to secure peace and stability.

In a subsequent press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for neutralising five militants during the operations. He stated that under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, security forces were attaining considerable accomplishments in the battle against terrorism.

The prime minister emphasised that the entire nation supports the military forces in the fight against terrorism. He emphasised that the nation is together and steadfast, and would not cease efforts until all manifestations of terrorism are entirely eradicated.
