Weekly trading sees the PSX gain more than 6,700 points.

According to the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s weekly report, the current business week has shown a good trend.

The KSE-100 Index ended the week at 173,939, up 6,747 points.

Throughout the trading week, the index stayed within a range of 14,245 points, peaking at 174,404 and falling to 160,158.

Over the course of the week, 5.18 billion shares worth Rs 241.9 billion were traded on the stock market.

Nevertheless, the market value fell by Rs 776 billion throughout the week, ending at Rs 19,250 billion, despite the general upward trend.
