Stopping the corruption in the inquiry system is urgently needed, according to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Tuesday statement.

A meeting in Lahore was reportedly chaired by CM Maryam. Following the prosecution department’s lead, the briefing was held. In an effort to support the prosecution, suggestions and ideas were made.

In order to enhance the prosecutor’s effectiveness, the meeting emphasised how crucial it is to deploy the digital system. Imposing the Punjab Integrated Public Prosecutor System was decided upon. Aiming to enhance the prosecutors’ performance, the “set of skills” was introduced in the interim.

A first information report’s (FIR) legal requirements need to be improved, according to CM Maryam.

CM Maryam acknowledged the successes of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government’s economic policies, saying, “The PML-N government’s economic policies are reaping benefits.”

Saying, “We are paving the way for economic prosperity under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif,” she showered her admiration on PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.
