Interior Minister vows to take action against the mafia of passport offices agents

The government will remove the agent mafia from passport offices, according to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

The minister gave the centre officials instructions to improve sanitary arrangements while he was visiting the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) centre on Zarar Shaheed Road in Lahore.

Inquiring about their concerns over the issuance of national identity cards and other required documents, the minister also had a conversation with the center’s guests.

He asked how documentation was obtained and instructed the officials to expeditiously address matters of public concern. He also went over the amenities that the centre offers its guests.

He asserted that the agent mafia does not exist at NADRA offices and promised to take action against those individuals in passport offices.

In order to identify public issues and find quick solutions, the minister stated he is visiting NADRA workplaces. He stated that actions are being taken to promptly release documents to the general public.
