PHC revokes CM Ali Amin Gandapur’s ECP notice.

Judge Shakeel Ahmed and Justice SM Attiq Shah, who make up the Peshawar High Court’s two-member bench, put a stop to the ECP notice.

The petitioner’s attorney argued during the hearing that the Election Commission’s website contained all the information, and that it was no longer within the purview of ECP to request information about assets from the previous year.

Not to be forgotten is that KP CM received a notification from the ECP requiring him to appear before the commission on April 30 and provide information about his assets from the previous year.

The Peshawar High Court (PHC) was consulted by CM Gandapur in an attempt to contest the ECP notice’s issue. By means of Syed Sikandar Hayat Shah Advocate, his attorney, he filed the writ suit. The petition included the ECP as a respondent.

Ali Amin Gandapur filed a petition to become the chief minister of the province after running for office in the most recent general election from provincial assembly constituency PK-113. He was declared a member of the provincial parliament.
