Ahsan Iqbal: Saudi Arabia is probably going to invest $5 billion in Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia is expected to invest $5 billion in Pakistan, according to Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal’s Tuesday remarks.

Iqbal declared, “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Saudi Arabia soon,” while speaking at the Business Summit in Islamabad. Probably after the first visit to Saudi Arabia, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia will make a visit.”

Iqbal emphasized the necessity for increasing investment, saying, “Pakistan needs to expand exports and investment.”

Declaring that “political continuity must be embraced,” he emphasized the importance of maintaining political stability.

“Pakistan can become a $2,000 billion economy by 2047 with seven percent economic growth,” he claimed.

Iqbal stated, “Let’s join hands in a bid to make the country a $3 trillion economy,” in an appeal for cooperative efforts to boost the nation’s economy.

“Talks with China are underway to accelerate the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,” stated Iqbal in reference to the CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor).

“The talks with United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, and Qatar are also underway for the investment,” Iqbal claimed.
