CM Maryam asks for awareness among people regarding thalassemia.

On Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz urged people to become more conscious of thalassemia.

On the occasion of World Thalassemia Day, CM Maryam stated: “It is painful for thalassemia patients to go through the process of blood transfusion.”

She continued: “It is right for every thalassemia to get the special attention of society.”

“The thalassemia patients can be helped through the blood donation,” commented CM Maryam.

She stated: “We will have to reaffirm our commitment to free Pakistan from thalassemia.”

CM Maryam praised firefighters a few days ago on Saturday.

In honor of International Firefighters Day, CM Maryam stated, “Those who don’t care about their own lives for the sake of saving the lives of others are true heroes.”

“The firefighters face all the trials and tribulations in a bid to fulfil their responsibility with perfection,” she continued.

CM Maryam emphasized the necessity of taking precautions to avoid fire occurrences.

“We implement the laws for the sake of protecting the tall buildings from fire.”

She continued: “There is a dire need to implement the Punjab Community Safety Act.”
