PM and Italian Envoy Meet

According to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the country wishes to strengthen its bonds with Italy in the areas of legal immigration, trade and investment, education, and cultural exchanges.

When the Italian ambassador, Marilina Armellin, paid him a courtesy call at the prime minister’s residence, he shared his opinions with her.

Regarding several crucial regional and international issues, the prime minister remarked that the two sides had similar points of view.

Acknowledging the compliments he received on his re-election from the Italian leadership, the prime minister expressed his genuine desire to collaborate closely with Italy in the coming days to strengthen their bilateral relationship.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy was cordially invited by the Prime Minister of Pakistan to make an official visit, with an emphasis on the value of high-level diplomatic relations.

He expressed how much he valued Prime Minister Meloni’s domestic and international initiatives, which had elevated Italy to a significant EU member.

The speaker expressed gratitude to Italy for accommodating a substantial Pakistani diaspora population that served as a conduit between the two nations and bolstered their respective economies.
