PTI being marginalised, public mandate ignored in KP: Ali Muhammad

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Muhammad Khan has charged political marginalisation of the party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that a government with public mandate is being demolished.
Ali Muhammad Khan stated he had received indications that dysfunctional Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi was in police detention. He said he did not know where Afridi was now or in what condition he was.
The PTI leader also voiced his concern over the situation in the province and alleged breach of privacy and respect for home. Afridi, he added, was still the chief minister and the party did not know Junaid Akbar’s location.
PTI would continue its political effort in the existing situation, said Ali Muhammad Khan.
He said that conversations were 90 to 95 percent on the route to success in speaking about political negotiations. Political differences and discord may be overcome by communication and mutual understanding, he said.
“We need to sit and talk, instead of pulling each other down,” added the PTI leader, urging that talks should continue to resolve pending political concerns.
He stressed that political issues should be settled through conversation rather than confrontation.
