The Balochistan government announces Ramadan 2024 office hours.

As to the published announcement, government offices will have regular office hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, which would enable workers to finish their job by early afternoon. On Friday, however, office hours will be further shortened from 9 AM to 1 PM.

The new Ramadan hours for offices that are open six days a week will be 9 AM to 2 PM on ordinary days; however, on Fridays, these offices will close earlier, at 12:00 PM.

The purpose of this change is to make room for the religious rituals and observances that take place during the holy month.

Pakistanis will probably mark the first day of the holy month on Wednesday, March 13, as Muslims throughout the world get ready for the celebrations and prayers of Ramadan.

On March 11, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet to decide when Ramadan-ul-Mubarak will begin. Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad will chair the meeting, which will be attended by other academics and representatives from the Religious Affairs Ministry.

Additional technical assistance will come from the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Meteorologists predict that the first day of Ramadan will fall on March 13 and that there is little probability of seeing the moon in Pakistan on March 11.

On March 12, Muslims in a number of Islamic nations, particularly those in the Gulf, are anticipated to mark the first day of Ramadan.
