The Met Department predicts hail and rain in some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

A weather advisory has been released by the Meteorological Department, stating that rain and hail are possible in certain areas of Upper and Central Punjab, as well as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In certain regions of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there’s also a chance of significant rainfall.

A warning of possible landslides along the Karakoram Highway owing to heavy rains has also been issued by the National Highways Authority (NHA). While efforts are in progress to remove debris and reduce the risk of landslides, adverse weather patterns are making these tasks more difficult.

The Met Department reports that KP, Upper and Central Punjab, and some sections of Central Punjab are predicted to see heavy rains today along with some hail. This raises worries about safety and may cause traffic disruptions in impacted areas. In some areas of Upper KP, it has also predicted significant rainfall.

Partially cloudy skies, rain, and in certain locations, heavy rain and hailstorm are forecast for Islamabad and the neighboring areas.

Additionally, a spokeswoman for the National Highway Authority stated that there is a possibility of landslides at various locations along the Karakoram Highway due to the severe rainfall. He stated that a clearing operation is in progress wherever feasible and that they have been having trouble getting rid of the debris because of the bad weather.

The public was additionally advised by the NHA not to travel on the Karakoram Highway. The spokeswoman stated that the NHA, FWO, and local governments are making a lot of effort to clear the roads.

The Met Department has forecast that Lahore will likely experience temperatures as high as 40 degrees Celsius the next week. It predicts that Lahore will have gloomy weather for the next two days, but then the temperature will rise.

The city will reach a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, compared to the present 22 degrees. According to the department, it will probably reach a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius.
