Pakistan will start flying to Hajj on May 9, 2024.

Based on the information provided, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has finished making preparations for the Hajj 2024 flight function.

In the Hajj operation, four airlines will participate: Serene Air, Air Blue, Saudi Airlines, and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

The pilgrims’ immunisation programme at the Hajj Camps will begin on April 30. According to the government’s plan, up to 69,500 pilgrims would set out on their spiritual quest.

At the airports of Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, and Faisalabad, Hajj flights in 2024 will be operated.

The needed immunisation must be administered to all pilgrims in Hajj camps ten days prior to the start of the pilgrimage flights.

The luggage, shoe bag, hand-carry bag, Ihram belt, and green scarf featuring the Pakistani flag will all be given to pilgrims.

In order to use helpful mobile applications for assistance throughout their Hajj journey, it will be necessary for all aspiring pilgrims to carry a smartphone.

As one of the five pillars of Islam, the Hajj is a holy journey. The Hajj is performed at Makkah, Saudi Arabia, by millions of Muslims every year.

The event occurs annually at the same time, in the twelfth month of the Islamic calendar, Dhul Hijjah, which is a sacred month. Depending on whether the moon is visible, Hajj takes place from the eighth of Dhul Hijjah for five to six days.

Global Muslims celebrate Eidul Adha, a four-day feast, when they spot the new crescent moon.
