For Good Friday and Easter, LWMC gives its Christian employees a bonus of Rs 5,000.

In an expression of gratitude and goodwill, the Lahore Waste Management Company has provided a bonus of Rs5,000 for its staff in advance of Good Friday and Easter celebrations.

CEO Babar Sahib Din acknowledged the decision, saying that the incentives are being given to Christian employees only because of the importance of Good Friday and Easter.

As a thank you for their hard work and devotion, bonuses will be given to 9,199 sanitary workers, 73 supervisors, 250 drivers, and six helpers.

Additionally, before the Good Friday holiday, CEO Babar Sahib Din stressed that the entire city would undergo a zero waste operation. Each employee’s shift would be extended by a minimum of two hours in order to accommodate the thorough cleaning procedure.

The CEO also said that 266 churches in the city would be cleaned in time for Easter. In order to improve standards of cleanliness and hygiene, 78 Christian communities are also scheduled to undergo manual sweeping and scraping operations.
