Hub Dam will once again supply water to Karachi.

The 66-inch diameter rising main at the Hub pumping station has been repaired, according to a statement sent by the KWCS spokeswoman. As the water supply to the city is restored in the early hours of Tuesday, “the rising main is being charged,” the statement continued.

Recall that on Saturday, K-Electric abruptly cut off the electricity at Hub Pumping Station, which had an impact on the rising main.

Following receipt of the report, KWSC employees visited the location and examined the impacted line, according to a corporation representative. In an effort to minimize disruption to the public, KWSC Chief Operating Officer Engineer Asadullah Khan directed the pertinent personnel to finish the restoration work as soon as possible.
